Web Design: The 60-30-10 Rule

If you're looking to create a well-designed website, it's important to use colors correctly.

If you're looking to create a well-designed website, one of the most important things to keep in mind is the 60-30-10 rule. This rule dictates that 60% of your website should be made up of your main color, 30% should be your accent color, and 10% should be your action color. The reason this works so well is that it creates a pleasing visual balance on your website. Too much of any one color can be overwhelming, but by using the 60-30-10 rule you ensure that everything looks just right.

The main color is typically the color that you use most often on your website. It's usually a neutral color like white, black, or gray. The accent color is used to add visual interest and contrast. It should be used sparingly, as too much of it can be distracting. The action color is used to draw attention to important elements on your website, like call-to-action buttons. It should be bright and eye-catching, but not so bright that it's jarring.

By following the 60-30-10 rule, you can create a well-balanced and visually appealing website that will wow your visitors. So don't forget about this important rule when you're designing your next site!
